HE101

I know it’s probably not the right time for me to blog about how wonderful my class is yet since there’s still about two months left before this semester ends. However, I just couldn’t contain myself anymore. I have this class called HE101, hence the title of this entry. It’s a course about ethics, morality and values. Let me begin by saying that I have one of the most awesome and young at heart teacher ever. All the three hours in her class were filled with activities and free foods! Also, the discussion is very intellectually stimulating thanks to my opinionated and insightful classmates. Anyway, I just want to share two things that struck me today.

First is the quote: ” When God leads you to a cliff, trust him fully because either of two things will happen: either he’ll catch you when you fall or he’ll teach you how to fly.” I love this because it is very reassuring. That in face of any adversities, we know that someone out there is always in control. Also, it tells us that problems are either ways to be closer to Him or opportunities to be better.

Second is the film called “Everybody’s Fine”

This film is very beautifully made. The title basically tells what the film is about. Two perspectives were given to the phrase “Everybody’s fine”. First is how people always try to put on a face and tell that things are well. The second being how people can be fine despite imperfections. You probably can’t relate to what I’m saying right now. So what you have to do is go watch it because everything is definitely fine about this movie. (Haha!) :)
